We can only recommend build 22118 or later (coovachilli based dd-wrt). Anyway I think I'll pick it up and a new 5 port switch on monday. It's not like I plan to be in the router for any great deal of time anyway. Official dd-wrt builds by Brainslayer Eko specialized Broadcom Only Builds Smaller VPN JFFS builds used to be available for 4MB units at downloads/others/eko This is not recommended, but search the Broadcom forum if trying to find some of these old builds. I'd go with Tomato first, and if you don't find that enough for you, then spin DD-WRT for a bit. The biggest thing I appricated back in the day about Tomato firmware was its ability to only restart a service, while DD-WRT required a reboot of the router, it was pretty sweet to update my firewall on the fly and not interupt my netz. I was interested in giving a real world example of using a CSRF attack, similar to the ones I mentioned. This software is usually not officially supported by the original manufacturer of the router. I was introduced to Tomato last year, I think, and I have really, really liked the Tomato firmware over DD-WRT, even after watching DD-WRT grow and add new stuff over the year. DD-WRT v24-sp1: CSRF Example (Bugtraq ID: 35742 ). DD-WRT is an alternate firmware available for Wi-Fi routers. Tomato is really nice, DD-WRT has gotten really bloated over time, I used to use it back in the day when playing around with firmwares.
